HCC YEARLY DEVELOPMENT PLANS (2014-18)

2014

  • Explore funding avenues for pavilion extension with the ECB and Suffolk County Cricket Board and all other possible funding bodies.

2015
  • Start building work on pavilion extension.
  • New pavilion in use for 2015 season.


2016

  • Continue to explore all fundraising avenues for the pavilion extension with all available and interested parties.
  • Start building work on pavilion extension by October 2016
  • Recruit new fixture secretary to ease work load of club secretary.
  • Enter ladies team in indoor winter league 2016/17

2017

  • Finish the pavilion extension project whether in a phased fashion or a complete finish.
  • Recruit four new coach support workers or cricket activators.
  • Recruit two new members to our ground maintenance team and send them on the appropriate course.
  • Explore possibility of ladies playing summer fixtures.

2018

  • Explore the possibility of finding second ground for HCC to use so that club can add additional teams and provide more cricket. Keep in touch with Hadleigh Rugby Club for this project.
  • Add “phase 2” work to the pavilion extension to include heating, new windows and doors, move bar, pods in home dressing room and electronic score board.
  • Recruit new female level 2 coach.
  • Add 1 more level 2 coach male or female.
  • Increase male adult playing membership by at least 5 new players.

HCC YEARLY DEVELOPMENT PLANS (2019/20)

Babergh Office Development

  • To reach an agreement with Babergh DC over the development of their office which allows HCC uninterrupted cricket, ensuring the risks to HCC are mitigated and that the long term future of HCC is not put at risk.

 

Financial

  • Ensure ECB loan repayment plan continues to meet repayment schedule.
  • Ensure ECB loan repayments are being made out of “normal” HCC activities.
  • Restore HCC “rainy day” fund to £10K ASAP
  • Ensure we maintain current sponsorship levels.
  • With any “spare” finances we will continue to invest in the clubs infrastructure to continue to improve the club facilities.

 

Infrastructure Pavilion Improvement Plan

  • Continue to upgrade specification, furniture, chairs and tables in pavilion- ASAP
  • Continue to improve kitchen facilities. ASAP
  • Install PA system in pavilion-ASAP
  • Install changing pods in home dressing room-ASAP
  • Install electronic score board-ASAP
  • Consider viewing decking area alongside pavilion-ASAP


Playing and Membership

  • To continue to increase our senior membership both male and female in 2020 with a target of at least 5 new senior ladies introduced to cricket.
  • To increase junior membership numbers for 2020.
  • Aim for year two growth in our All Stars scheme.
  • Recruit two more level 2 coaches ideally one candidate being female.
  • Recruit more volunteers to help with junior section particularly to help with team management, scorers etc.
  • For senior men’s teams to continue challenging at top end of Two Counties league
