HADLEIGH CRICKET CLUB, SUFFOLK News story

Great News: training is on for Juniors in 5:1 sessions from 6th July.

23 Jun 2020

Dear all,

I am pleased to let you know (just in case you haven't seen it) that there is some more training available on 5 players to 1 coach ratio.

We still need to abide by social distancing rules and be careful when arriving and leaving the ground but we can start to coach in groups.

The sessions will be mainly net based and would be great if you have your own kit (otherwise we will be able to lend some). It won't always be hard ball.

Sessions available starting on 6th July for 1 month:

Monday U13s 17:30 – 18 :30 & 18:45 – 19:45

Wednesday U15s 17:30 – 18:30 & 18:45 – 19:45

Friday U11s 18:00 – 18:55 & 19:10 – 20:00

Sunday Junior One to One’s (subject to demand/coaches availability)

Allowing 15mins between each booking.

Parents please park in top car park and wait to be called down.

Players will be given an area in which to put their kit.

To book a all four weeks of sessions please email Claire Levitt: claireylou81@googlemail.com

Please see attached document for details. HCC COVID19 Group sessions.docx

Thanks to all my coaching team and Claire for making this happen.

Also note below the message from our Chairman:

Hi All

Hope you and yours are all coping well in these strange times.

As you all know we have been offering 1 2 1 net sessions at the Meadow, which I am pleased to say have been going well and I thank you all for being so disciplined in following all of the guidelines and protocols.

I am also pleased to confirm that we can now move to offering group sessions at the Meadow.

Please find attached the latest protocol so you can enjoy a group session with your team mates.

This protocol follows all the latest ECB and UK government guidelines which most importantly ensures yours and your club colleagues safety.

Please read and digest the protocol.

If you feel you cannot meet any of the criteria then please do not book a session or arrive at the ground.

We will be continuing with a collective responsibility approach for the group sessions so please do not abuse this protocol in any way, we do not want to withdraw group sessions.

We will continue to monitor the latest guidance and updates from the ECB and the UK Government and we will update you further as appropriate.

Finally I am sure you will join me in thanking Ben Wallis and our brilliant team of HCC coaches for making this happen. We could not do it without them.

Enjoy your mini sessions.
